Our offering of Vetiver oil (South India) is extracted from Vetiveria zizanoides of the Gramineae family. It has an earthy, musty smell and is obtained through the process of steam distillation.
In India and Sri Lanka, Vetiver Essential Oil is known as the "oil of tranquility". This is directly applicable to its common applications as a relaxing and comforting oil.
