Cassie absolute is a dark yellow, pale brown viscous liquid that is clear at room temperature. It has extremely warm, powdery-spicy odor, at the same time herbaceous and floral with a deep and very tenacious cinnamic-balsamic undertone.
Cassie Flower Absolute is a real gem amongst the absolute oils we offer for sale. This is golden olive green in colour, of a pourable viscosity and exudes a sweet top note of violet and honey, which is exceptionally tenacious. The violet aroma remains throughout this deeply satisfying aromatic adventure and I’d add you will detect beautiful spiced cinnamon notes within the heart that are entwined with very delicate herbaceous notes that give the body of this material real warmth, strength, uniqueness and long lasting depth.
Color : Viscous red brown liquid with a fresh sweet scent,
Aroma : Spicy, woodsy scent.
Cassie contains a wide range of ingredients such as anisaldehyde, benzoic acid, benzyl alcohol, butyric acid, coumarin, decyl aldehyde, eicosane, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, hydroxyacetophenone, nerolidol, palmitic acid, salicylic acid, and terpineol.
The absolute of the flower is used in high-cost perfumes and lends a unique warm and wood-floral note. The bark of the plant is used for tanning and dying leather in combination with iron ores and salts.
