This product is extracted from Mentha piperita Linn which is grown in India. Undertaking fractional distillation method the extraction of natural menthol oil is generated which are further cooled to form this powdery substance. Due to the presence of peppermint this menthol component presents soft, cool and refreshing effect.
Peppermint was first described in 1753 by Carolus Linnaeus from specimens that had been collected in England; he treated it as a species, but it is now universally agreed to be a hybrid.
